How to Add an Image to a blog Post or web Page

Published on: 02/11/2026, 05:09 PM by Software Developer

I have been creating How To's / Tutorials for the CMS, and I am doing screenshots and the n just uploading it within the specific blog post.

It displays okay on a Desktop or Laptop.

However, the "left tp right" phenomenon displays on smaller screens.

- You can easily test your Installation by shrinking your browser screen to the smallest it will allow, and you can see this ...

Let's use the Blog Post below as an example / model:  :-)

How to Add a New Blog Post

On Desktop, it displays okay, like this:

Then on a Phone or Smaller screen it displays like this:

For my previous Tutorial Blog Posts, I do not mind this, as I want the screenshots to display in actual size so that the Customers can see the example pictures / screenshots (usually when one is doing website development, you do it on a desktop or laptop, seldom on a phone :-) )

Anyway, the CMS is not broken, it's just how images are displayed by default, which is its "actual size".

So here's how to Add an Image (same instruction for Posts and Pages):

Let's use this Post for this example: (Add a Post, or "Edit" a Post)

1) On the Content Box, select the Add Image Icon

2) The Image Menu will pop up, select the "Upload"

3) Then on the Upload Tab, click the "Choose File" button, then the "Send it to the Server" button

4) Then the Tab will automatically switch to the the "Image Info" tab, notice the Image "Width" and "Height" - these settings determined the size of the image that will display on the front end of your website.

5) Click the OK button, so the image displays on your post, or page.

6) Also make sure you click the "Update Post" (or "Update Page" button, at the very bottom of the page.
